LASER APPLICATIONS

The laser is a non-ionizing light and does not accumulate in the tissue. For this reason, it does not have a harmful feature like x-rays. It is important to apply the correct doses by using the appropriate laser wavelength. It can be used by everyone, including pregnant women, children and heart patients.

Laser applications are widely used in dentistry. It is used in dental implant treatments, cleaning dental caries, performing dental fillings and root canal treatments, drying inflammations at the tip of the dental root, all kinds of surgical procedures and aesthetic dental treatments on the gingiva and jawbone, and gum shaping. In addition, the tooth colour is whitened, the sensitivity of sensitive teeth is removed, aphthae and herpes treatments can also be performed with the laser method.

In treatment applications with laser technology, the required surgical application is simplified and can be performed in a short time.

The laser beam is used in various stages of surgical operations. In surgical procedures with laser support, bone operations, bone removal procedures required for wisdom teeth extraction and various bone shaping procedures can be performed without damaging the surrounding tissues.

Patients can easily continue their daily life after surgical interventions and does not experience problems such as difficulty in speaking and eating.

Dental treatment with laser provides significant convenience in the treatment of paediatric patients and patients of all ages who have fear of dentists.

Dental treatment with laser can be preferred in pregnant women and individuals with serious systemic diseases such as heart disease. Thus, patients feel more comfortable.

Thanks to the laser application, all soft tissue lesions that occur outside the normal in the mouth can be surgically treated without the use of local anaesthesia and without the need for stitches.

• For pink aesthetics (to design the right level and symmetry of gingiva) in cosmetic dentistry,
• For teeth whitening in cosmetic dentistry (In bleaching processes with Erbium:YAG laser, no sensitivity and damage occurs as it can be applied without creating heat on the tooth)
• For bone abrasion during impacted tooth extraction (pain and oedema are reduced by one fifth after tooth extractions made in this way)
• For completion of treatments without the need for surgical procedures in the treatment of gingival diseases
• For quick relief with low-level energy laser (DSLT-LLLT) applications in jaw locking and joint problems due to muscle spasm
• For a shorter and more comfortable recovery period after surgical procedures with LLLT application
• For rapid healing of gum pockets after Deep Gum Cleansing (curettage)
• For removal of the sensitivity by closing the dentin canals with a laser, in tooth sensitivities caused by gingival recessions
