A CBCT scanner (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) is a cutting-edge imaging system that creates precise, high-resolution 3D images of a patient's mouth in detail, including teeth, jaws, soft tissue and bones. Although traditional 2D X-rays are still used in dentistry, 3D imaging allows better planning, earlier diagnosis, and more efficient treatment.

3D dental CBCT scans are essential for correct placement of dental implants. CBCT scans measure the depth, width, and density of the jawbone, and more importantly, the depth of the bone near the nerve channels and sinus cavities, with an accuracy of 0.1mm in a 3D view.

Thanks to its high resolution, dental tomography images allow imaging of both soft and hard tissue without sacrificing clarity.

Dental tomography imaging takes less than a minute, is completely painless, and the radiation dose is 100 times less than a conventional CT scanner.
